(Serves 2)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 or 3 carrots, peeled and cut into strips
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 3-4 small florets of broccoli
  • Chunk of ginger, peeled and finely sliced
  • A handful of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, peeled and sliced
  • ½ red pepper – deseeded
  • 175g rump steak, cut into strips
  • ½ orange, segmented and juice retained
  • A handful of frozen peas
  • Seasoning

Organic ingredients mean less GM ingredients.

Method: Add oil to the pan and fry the garlic, ginger and onion until the onion is golden brown. Add the beef and vegetables and stir-fry until evenly browned. Add the segments of orange and juice to the pan, cover and gently simmer for about 3 minutes. Finally, season to taste and serve with boiled rice or noodles.
